Hi, we're George & Yorkie and you'll be seeing quite a lot of us as we're the travelling bears. For our minders it's a case of 'have bear will travel' and where they go we go. It's basically our size that makes us very suitable for travelling and we find stowing away in a variety of small spaces quite easy. What we lack in size we make up for in personality and as you will discover in the days to come we get up to some great adventures.
Here we are in swash buckling form aboard a traditional Icelandic fishing boat. We're perched up in the rigging looking out for whales. We only saw one on this occasion but it was a splendid minke and well worth seeing. We won the prize for seeing it first and celebrated with a welcome tot of rum just like the seasoned sailors we are.

Bet it wasn't as warm as the Caribbean though! Did you have to eat lots of Nutella to keep up your energy reserves to ward off the shivers? Isaiah ate loads of cheese and dranl lots of wine in France but is still as skinny as ever!
Hi George and Yorkie sailing bears. Did you climb the rigging on your trip? I know you bears are good at climbing trees but how about ship masts? I bet Small Seal would like a trip to Iceland ? Perhaps you could recommedn it to Bear and him? As Bear likes chocolate, he'd love the chocky raisins you can get there and there would be plenty of fish for Small Seal. Look forward to your next instalment.
