The nice thing about going on holiday out of season is that you can escape the crowds and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. Here I, George, am enjoying a sit and think in a tourist free Dovedale.
Actually, I wasn't quite as relaxed as I look as it was very windy at the time and I was having to concentrate on gripping the branch with my buttocks to stop myself falling off. If I had fallen in the river it might have been the fastest game of pooh sticks ever recorded, as the river was racing along after all the rain.
My rest was quite well timed though as shortly after I came down from my branch I saw we'd got to climb up a big flight of steps.
As you can see we didn't get very far before we had to take a rest, or in bear speak a view stop. Very fine it was too!
Lots of love George & Co xxx
